Went to One Love yesterday at the Hataitai Velodrome and it was awesome! Although there were mixed feelings this year about the vibe and that 'last year was better' well Wellington definitely put on a show and the day was hot and there was not a cloud in the sky.
You could hear the bass and smell the weed a mile away and even though there was more of a presence of police here this year then the last, they were more in charge of crowd control and stayed away from the main arena.
This year there were more stalls selling alcohol (as no byo was strictly inforced this year), food and also an added bonus of a free silent disco tent at the back which had two channels of mixed up goodness! While dancing at the frount I was snapped by a dom post photographer but haven't seen my photo on the net yet :-(
